I've been running High Rollers nonstop since... well... two years ago?

Are mountainbike tires easy to get on? I'm always fighting with my road tires to get them on.

I had studded tires on. Not so good for the summer.

I have this thing called a speed lever, it makes a HUGE difference. I think MTB tires are a bit easier to begin with though.

How old are the kids? you might not go as fast with them, but it would be a good way to tire them out, right?

I had studded knobby tires for the winter, and bigger knobby tires for the summer. Street tires don't work on trails.

The work for what I do, I do dirt jumping, so a smooth tire is nice for it.

Nice! A good friend has one built as a SS Rigid, suuper nice ride.
I'm in the same boat trail-wise, waiting for them to firm up so I can break out my Surly Karate Monkey.

I read velominati too much so I actively refuse to use tools to mount my tires. Also, last time I used tools to mount tires I punctured my inner tube. So I had to patch my tire all over again while standing at the side of the road. I was not happy.

My 2 (almost 3) year old loves going on rides, but I also have a 6 month old, so trails are out. Plus my trailer is too wide for any trails. Though I may take them on a neighborhood ride just to build up my legs. I have a biggie coming up in a few weeks.

oh my. That sucks. I don't know how you could puncture anything with this thing though. It's pretty slick. Work smarter not harder.

Getting them off is harder than putting them on. You don't even need a tool to put them on.

Hoping for good weather (like always). Just found some new trails myself today, always a great feeling.
